##### RK900 shunting coupler

The RK 900 shunting coupler, developed in 1939, has a long history in freight operations, with a legacy of more than 80 years of proven service record across European freight operations.

It is used for coupling and uncoupling locomotives and railway cars. It is a draw coupling that is connected to the locomotive's draw hook, supported by the front underframe structure of the traction vehicle, and works together with the side buffers. It is used both for shunting operations and for mainline/service runs. If required, the brake hose connection between the locomotive and the railway car must still be connected manually.

Certified by Deutsche Bahn (DB). Proven in service across Europe with Deutsche Bahn (DB), Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB) and other private operators.

Product details
\- No manual coupling using UIC draw hook
\- Easy attachment of the RK 900 to the UIC draw hook of the locomotive
\- Easy to maintain and low-wear construction
\- Design compatible for the use of a screw coupling
\- Tension force: 1000 kN, Length: 981 mm; Weight 240 kg; Operating Temperature: -25° C to 70° C

##### Tight lock type H coupler

The tight-lock Type H coupler, like the Knuckle coupler, is based on the design of the Janney coupler. This type of coupler is particularly common in the USA.

The Dellner tight-lock Type H coupler is available for regional, intercity and high-speed trains, as well as railcars. It complies with the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) PR-CS-RP-019-12 Rail Transit Standard. The coupler features an anti-rotation joint, and its design ensures that, in the event of a collision, the end frames are brought together in a way that minimizes vertical and lateral movement between the coupled vehicles and the impacting vehicles. The tight-lock Type H coupler is rigorously tested under both static and dynamic conditions and is equipped with a mechanical Knuckle coupler head. The coupler features a rubber draft gear for regenerative energy absorption, while non-regenerative energy absorption is controlled by a deformation tube. The force and stroke characteristics of the deformation tube can be adjusted to meet the vehicle manufacturer's crash energy management requirements.
