TRAIN DOORS
The ESP4C Electrical Sliding Plug Compact Door Mechanism is a high-performance solution designed for modern rail vehicles, offering exceptional reliability and versatility. With over 20,000 belt-driven systems in service worldwide, it has proven its durability across various applications. A single actuator powers both leaves of a double door while also managing the locking function, simplifying the system architecture and enhancing operational efficiency. Its standardised design ensures that 73% of parts are shared between single and double door configurations, streamlining maintenance and reducing inventory complexity.
One of the standout features of the ESP4C is its lightweight construction. The operator is 30% lighter and more compact than comparable products on the market, saving up to 20 kg per door system. This weight reduction contributes to improved energy efficiency and easier installation. Technically, the ESP4C accommodates a wide range of door sizes: single leaf doors from 650 to 1400 mm and double leaf doors from 1200 to 1800 mm, with plug movement of 70 mm. It offers flexible vertical coordination options, either through vertical bars or lower swing arms. The mechanism, including the hanger device, weighs 46 kg for a 1300 mm double door and withstands pressure waves up to 2500 Pa. Noise emissions are kept below 75 dB on average, with peak levels not exceeding 80 dB, making it a quiet and robust choice for modern rail systems.
