On April 28, we hosted an Innovation Day with Trenitalia at our AM plant in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna). The event was designed as an immersive, hands-on experience, allowing for close interaction, open discussion, and strong engagement between our teams and the customer. The day was structured as a journey across three thematic “railway stations,” each representing a key area of innovation and value for the rail ecosystem. 

The agenda covered focused technical deep dives and demonstrations across core topics including antifire and HVAC solutions (watermist systems, SMIR detection, R290 refrigerant), braking and train control technologies (RegioFLEXX, segmented disks, ED braking, TOM3), digital and cybersecurity topics, as well as rail doors, CBM, pantographs, carbon strips, and catenary monitoring.  

The Innovation Day confirmed the value of bringing customers into our plants, fostering trust, transparency, and co-creation. The high level of interaction and engagement with Trenitalia made the event a strong foundation for future collaboration and shared innovation initiatives.
