Electrical Sliding Door Mechanism
ES2 mechanism
TRAIN DOORS
This external sliding door mechanism is designed for Metro, Suburban, and Regional trains, offering exceptional reliability and ease of maintenance. With over 200,000 units of our homemade rolled screw and hanging device technology in service worldwide and more than 30 years of proven operation, it stands as a trusted solution for mass transit. The system features a single actuator that controls both door leaves and the locking function, ensuring simplified maintenance and reduced complexity.
A 95% standardization ratio across operators further enhances compatibility and streamlines fleet integration.
Technically, the mechanism supports both single and double leaf configurations, with freeway openings ranging from 500 to 1600 mm (single) and 1160 to 2100 mm (double). The distance between pillars is calculated as freeway plus 100 mm or 200 mm, respectively. For a typical 1300 mm opening, the operator weighs 27 kg and the hanging device 14 kg. The system is designed for high modular integration, with a separated hanging device and free operator orientation, allowing flexible installation. Noise emissions remain low, averaging under 75 dB, with peak levels below 80 dB, ensuring passenger comfort and compliance with urban noise standards.
