FTSS3 is a pneumatic brake control unit providing an efficient interface between the brake pipe, brake actuator(s), auxiliary reservoir(s) and load component(s).

Built around the service-proven SW4S distributor valve fulfilling UIC and TSI requirements, FTSS3 integrates brake control functions on a single bracket and is fully configurable to match freight wagon brake architectures, with or without load dependant valves and knick valves.

The unit can be equipped with EP brake and/or digital modules and is designed for new builds and conversion projects This market-unique solution is especially suited for intermodal freight cars of the 80’ and 90’ series and can be configured for different brake cylinder pressures when required by the application.

FTSS3 integrates the complete brake control equipment for three bogies on a single bracket.
