FTSS1 is a pneumatic brake control unit providing an efficient interface between the brake pipe, brake actuator(s), auxiliary reservoir(s) and load component(s).

Built around the service-proven SW4S distributor valve fulfilling UIC and TSI requirements, FTSS1 integrates brake control functions on a single bracket and is fully configurable to match freight wagon brake architectures, with or without load dependent valves and kink (knick) valves.

The unit can be equipped with EP brake and/or digital modules and is designed for new builds and conversion projects. FTSS1 is dedicated to freight wagons requiring a single-relay brake architecture, providing the most compact and lightweight configuration of the FTSS platform.
